Acceptance

To hell with American expectations that our lives will be orderly and controlled (ugghh, after Germany, this seems doubly unappealing). It's time for me to apply to the "first" world the lesson I learned so well in Latin American (why didn't this occur to me before)? It's clear there will be nothing ordered, nothing controlled, in this woman's life. What hubris to even think that we are in charge. So I've decided to stop thinking I can fight it, and just enjoy the chaos that appears to insist on accruing. Acceptance: the opposite of Blindness. Try some today.
