My ex was in town over Hannukah weekend which was particularly nice since I was feeling like rather a fraud lighting the candles by myself. I do like ritual, preferably involving sparkling lights and bright colors -- all that training as a Catholic. Of course he infused the proceedings with his usual off-the-wall sense of humor...
