Gloom settling in

The weather turned about a week ago, right after the unpleasantness of Mr. Happily Married (who I've still left hanging -- most likely a permanent condition from my perspective). I pulled out the winter coat which not only makes me look like the Michelin Man, but is quite an unpleasant shade of insipid green (a fashion faux pas due to on-line advertising). It's warm, though, I'll say that, but I'm going sans hood for as long as I can stand it because that turns Michelin Man into Eskimo. The Berlin gloom has started in. One knows it's day by the twilight that hesitantly makes its way through what appear to be miles of cloud cover. And I have two more months of this in front of me.
